Diamond Developmental Center, Inc. is a privately owned corporation providing services to adult persons with Developmental Disabilities.

Diamond Developmental Center, Inc. has been growing steadily since it opened its doors in 1987. We currently have locations to serve persons in Nampa, Caldwell, Payette, and Boise.

DDC provides quality services to more persons than any other developmental center in Idaho. We also provide an extensive Summer Program for children with developmental disabilities to help them maintain the skills they have learned during the academic year.

Our goal is to help individuals develop skills which will lead to more self determination, increased and continuing participation in the community, and enrich all aspects of their life.

Our training programs emphasize not only increased independence at our centers, but also in the person’s home, as well as in the community.

Basic Components

• Center-based and community instruction to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Flexible hours available.
• Instruction for adults 5 days per week from 9AM to 3PM.
• Medicaid Paid Transportation is available.
• Multi-disciplinary assessments and program development.
• Group and individual therapy in the areas of:
  Self-help skill development.
  Activities of daily living.
  Gross and fine motor skills.
  Language and communication skill development.
  Social skill development.
• Data-based instructional decision making.
• Integrated occupational, physical and speech therapy.
• Targeted Service coordination.
• Summer Program for children.
